Samsung Galaxy S4

by

Samsung Galaxy S4 is the bestselling smartphone in the company’s history, and by a longshot. The high-end Android running device is following in the footsteps of its predecessors, being one of the most sough-after gadgets and already a legend in its own time.
In the first six months since its apparition, the Galaxy S4 was sold in over 40 million units, while in the first month of its launching it reached over 10 million units sold, and that’s spectacular. Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy S3, it broke every record, it surpassed Apple’s iPhone in terms of sales figures and helped and reinforced Samsung’s position as the world’s number one smartphone manufacturer.
Now, the Galaxy S4 is the next step in Samsung’s never-ending battle, of controlling the international smartphone market and reinforcing Android’s dominance as the world’s number one mobile operating system.
Samsung Galaxy S4 The Samsung Galaxy S4 is basically an improvement of the previous generation, with more powerful hardware and some new software features, but it’s not a game changer by any means. It’s another incremental step in creating, maybe, the perfect smartphone.
The phone comes with a larger screen than the one in the S3, a bigger battery and more computing power in a smaller chassis, and that’s remarkable folks.
The retail package of the Korean dragon is pretty regular : it contains the standard set of accessories, i.e. the A/C adapter for the micro USB cable and a set of headphones, slightly different from the ones in the S3, with dual speakers(tweeter/woofer) which offer an improved high frequencies/bass response . In my opinion, the stock headphones in the Galaxy S4 are among the best on the market.
Samsung Galaxy S4 original packageOne of the key selling points of the Galaxy S4 is the size of the smartphone. Basically, a smaller S3, 0.8 mm narrower, 0.7 mm slimmer and 3 grams lighter, yet with a 0.2’’ larger screen and a bigger/user removable battery; plus, a bunch of new sensors and radios (LTE anyone?).
The screen is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which comes with a new glass composition, offering improved impact and scratch resistance.
The design is similar to its predecessors, featuring the well-known Hyperglazed finish, often criticized by haters as being too “cheap” for a high end smartphone. In my opinion, a flagship smartphone is not a piece of jewelry, and the S4 looks good enough for my money. It doesn’t feature a metal chassis like some of its competitors, but the smartphone has it where it counts!
Samsung Galaxy S4 in my handFor example, the 5 inches wide 1080p Super AMOLED display is every geek’s wet dream and it’s probably the best on the market, with its 441 pixels per inch density. The screen has perfect viewing angles and high contrast/color saturation.
The phone comes with the regular ports and buttons, nothing changed dramatically since the S3, except for the USB host support for MHL 2.0, which enables 3D 1080 output.
The back panel of the phone hosts a full HD 13 Megapixels camera, and when removed it reveals an upgraded 2600 mAh battery, user removable, and a hot swappable memory card.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes loaded with Android 4.2.2 JellyBean out of the box, customized with Samsung’s in-house User Interface-TouchWiz features. There is also a “pure Android” version available for the US market, without the TouchWiz UI, which offers a true-blue Android experience and also more storing space.
Jelly Bean Android 4.3The smartphone is packed with apps and cool features, like Air Motion gestures and smart-screen, also with S-Voice, Samsung’s own version of Siri, sort of speak and Google Now.

011Now Android app is running on Jelly Bean OS with no problem. Use the app for International calling! Free trial and low cost service.
